Inside every tooth is a space filled with nerves and blood vessels — the pulp. When that pulp becomes infected due to deep decay, trauma, or a crack, it can cause serious pain.
A root canal removes the infected tissue, disinfects the area, and seals the tooth — so you can keep it instead of losing it.
WHAT IS A
ROOT CANAL?
SIGNS YOU MAY NEED ONE:
Tooth-colored fillings (also called composite fillings) are made from a durable resin that’s matched to your tooth’s natural shade. They’re used to repair teeth with:
Persistent or severe toothache
Swelling around a tooth or jaw
Sensitivity to hot and cold
Darkening or discoloration of the tooth
A small bump on the gum near the tooth (abscess)
THE PROCESS
1. Numbing & Isolation

2. Gentle Cleaning of the Root

3. Disinfection & Sealing

4. Final Restoration
